Singapore, 24 January 2022 – Another collaboration, another rush of nostalgia. Bright Dairy & Food Co. Ltd. and Shanghai-based White Rabbit Brand, also known as Shanghai Guan Sheng Yuan Food Ltd., have come out with Peanuts Nougat Ice Cream for more to enjoy. Hao Productions, the only authorised distributor of the Peanuts Nougat Ice Cream in Singapore, is bringing them in 78 outlets combined with FairPrice Express and Cheers convenience stores.

The ice cream will be packed in its signature blue and white-chequered design which will be hard to miss. Sold in boxes of five, locals can soon look forward to this new yet familiar ice cream flavour from 15 February 2022, retailing for $12.50 per box. The ice cream features three creative flavours – apart from Bright Dairy’s widely known milk products, it embraces the classic taste of the Peanuts Nougat Candy as well as the distinguished White Rabbit Creamy Candy sweetness. Along with the development of the ‘Peanut Crunchiness Technology’, the Peanuts Nougat Ice Cream also highlights the crispiness of the peanuts as consumers experience in the nougat candy.

In addition, some nutritional benefits can also be found in this ice cream. Loaded with protein, fibre, and vitamins from natural sources, consumers can be sure of getting the essential nutrients they need from this treat. A twofold – just one glance and one bite to feel the immense visual and flavour experience. 

Having been well-received through the success from their previous launch of the White Rabbit Ice Cream, the two brands partnered again in creating a new ice cream flavour no stranger to one’s palate. Commonly recognised as a staple for Lunar New Year celebrations, the traditional Peanuts Nougat Candy is mandatory; a sweet treat as well as a vessel for new year blessings from the older generations.

The rich and silky milk in the Peanuts Nougat Ice Cream makes for a sensational experience of both fragrance and texture as it melts in one’s mouth. A harmony, the three flavours of the sweet milk, frozen peanuts, and nougat make up a unique layered, rich taste that offsets any greasy bit usually found in peanuts.

The Peanuts Nougat Ice Cream was first launched in Shanghai in February 2021. Earlier in 2020, the two brands have worked together in producing the original White Rabbit Ice Cream. Together with Bright Dairy’s outstanding milk resources and Shanghai Guan Sheng Yuan’s evolving efforts to further innovate their products, the Peanuts Nougat Ice Cream was made possible.

Henceforth, the Peanuts Nougat Ice Cream stands as a treat that generations old and young can enjoy together, festive season or not.
